I was in Virginia from the UK and by chance came across this museum. I am glad I did.
Brownsburg is a charming little town and this museum is run by lovely local volunteers. The main room gives a real insight into the regional history of the area and during my visit there was also an incredibly interesting exhibit on milling and distilling in the area.
A great little museum which is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
Admission is free so I would certainly recommend popping in, whether you have lived in the area all your life, or are only passing through.
